Oakridge Plantation on Daufuskie has the best beach in
the Southeast. Period. Located between the Melrose and
Bloody Point communities, Oakridge is 700 acres of prime
forest property that extends from the middle of
Daufuskie to the white sand beaches on the Atlantic.
Oakridge is known for its perfect beach and gentle
breezes, and the central location provides quick access
to golf courses, tennis, equestrian center, restaurants

homesites exist today at Oakridge: 23 Oceanfront (all

start at $499,000, and the estate lots when occasionally
listed sell in the mid to upper $200,000 range. Access
to Oakridge is from the Melrose Ferry, private boat, and
owners who are also members at Haig Point can utilize
the private Haig Point ferry system and water taxi.
